Our ESG Team is at the forefront of driving Silverstone’s commitment to sustainability, social responsibility and ethical governance. From implementing green initiatives accelerating our road to Net Zero to championing community outreach, we are dedicated to ensuring our operations and business activities leave a positive impact on the world around us. FINANCE

The Finance Team are responsible for all the nitty gritty – that means, producing timely financial information and reports across the business as we cover some of the most iconic racing events in the history of British motorsport, including the Formula 1 British Grand Prix, British Grand Prix MotoGP and Silverstone Festival.

We support all areas of the business including our trackside accommodation, the Corporate Events team, drive experiences, partnerships and sponsorships, track hire, catering and merchandising. Supporting all business functions with accurate and timely reporting is an essential part of the finance function and is therefore a truly unique and exciting opportunity for a finance driven individual.

IT AND BUSINESS SYSTEMS

From assisting staff with their computer setup right through to supporting 40+ yearly world-class events, corporate events, the Silverstone Museum and our drive and track events, a day in the life of our IT team is not all, ‘have you turned it off and on again?’!  We are responsible for many aspects of the day-to-day running of the circuit and when it comes to our delivering some of the biggest and best sporting events in the industry your hard work and determination never fails to result in that sense of pride with a feeling of a job well done. Being part of our IT team offers many challenges and opportunities to motivate and develop your career on every level. Working at a world-class venue such as ours we are always trying to push ourselves in the tech space. From physical to virtual, we have an open and positive attitude to how we can improve.

LEGAL

Our Legal team make sure everything we do is compliant with regulations and in line with our appetite for risk. With the support of external counsel experts we keep the business secure and efficient by overseeing and advising on all contracts, commercial legal issues, disputes, projects, property and regulatory matters, as well as anything else that has a legal or regulatory angle. Silverstone has such a breadth of business areas and moves at such a pace it is critical that the team are practical, commercial and responsive to provide legal services at the highest level.

PEOPLE AND CULTURE

If you’re a people person, we’re the team for you! The HR department plays a key role in supporting Silverstone’s wider strategy of sustainability and diversification as we recruit across the business to support this exciting shift.  
 
Silverstone’s success comes down to the talent and commitment of its staff and the HR team are essential in managing the integrity of the recruitment and hiring process, the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems, as well as policies and procedures that impact the well being of the staff and company. We are approachable points of contact and know how to get the best from people, and during the event season we play a special role in being responsible for operational welfare support to the wider teams.  

PROCUREMENT

The Procurement team are responsible for embedding a cost-conscious culture throughout the business. The team ensure all purchases meet our high standards of quality, cost-efficiency and sustainability and we maximise the value we obtain from suppliers through proactive supplier engagement and management. Overseeing all material procurement by leading each tender process and managing stakeholders, the team ensure strict compliance with our processes and procedures bringing integrity and consistency to our purchase of goods and services, giving confidence our costs are reasonable and proportionate.
